Even in the coldest of temperatures, work on the Boxley Community Building is moving along at a very rapid pace! In the last weeks, we have checked off the following in our renovation efforts:
All new electrical wiring
Insulation
New windows installed on north side face of the old girl
Plywood on walls to prepare for siding
Blown batts in between floors
New custom entry and back doors handcrafted by Delbert Headings of Green Forest
There is still much to do before we begin interior renovation, but the Community Building is really coming together with all the donations and volunteer labor. Every warm (er) day we have had a tremendous turn out of volunteers! We have almost exhausted all donated monies to this point, and do hope to set some fundraisers and raise more donations with the coming of spring...so check back often for updates and calendar dates.
